Everyone welcome

Accessibility Statement

(if it isn't working for you, tell us.)

A website that anyone can use is part of the job. This page describes what we aim for and how to reach us when something gets in the way.

Effective date: May 21, 2026. Last updated: May 21, 2026.

Our commitment

Brittany's K9 Training LLC is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control, or any other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not a bolt-on.

Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That covers contrast, keyboard operability, screen-reader naming, motion preferences, and more.

Known limitations

We're a small business and the site is actively being improved. Areas we know we're still working on:

  • Decorative scroll animations and the mascot - they respect prefers-reduced-motion, but the visual polish on that fallback is ongoing.
  • Photo alt text is being reviewed page-by-page to make sure every image that conveys information is described meaningfully.
  • Color contrast across all three site themes (sketchbook, sticker, zine) is under active audit.

Report an issue

If something on this site is hard to use, blocks you, or just feels wrong - please tell us. We read every message and we'll work to fix it.

Email brittanyk9trainer@gmail.com or call 614-940-9590. Mentioning the page URL and what assistive tech you're using (if any) helps us recreate and fix the problem faster.

What this statement is not

This statement reflects our ongoing commitment, not a final certificate. We update it as the site improves and as we learn from people who use it.
